Alpaca Ventures Inside a Lava Tube


Also in Barbados, Alpaca toured a real-life lava tube - his first! A clean freak by nature, he smothered himself with antibacterial wipes upon exiting, lest any moss spores find their way to him. Fellow germaphobe Howie Mandel would be so proud.

The Alpaca Learns the Difference Between Stalactites and Stalagmites


A stalactite is an icicle-shaped mass of calcite attached to the roof of a limestone cavern. A stalagmite, by comparison, is a cone of calcite rising from the floor of a cavern.
