I Lost My Heart in San Francisco, and My Toes in Mykonos

Mykonos is such a delightful island - we stayed at the Mykonos Palace Hotel, a wonderful resort on one of the best beaches on the island (http://www.mykonos-accommodation.com/mykonos-palace-hotel.htm). The powder-white sand was so fine it felt like you were walking on cottonballs.

The Alpaca was feeling ambitious, so he decided to try for a swim, but he didn't make it past his knees before his feet turned purple from the frigid, frigid water. Yikes! The hotel's restaurant, Notos, was aptly named, given that you would end up with NO TOES if you'd stuck them in that frightfully cold water.

Oh, the Alpaca is so funny!
