Belize It or Not, the Alpaca Went Jetskiing!

The Traveling Alpaca loves to swim and snorkel. And where better than Ambergris Cay in Belize?! To that end, the Traveling Alpaca set sail from beautiful Miami on Norwegian Cruise Line's Norwegian Sun (http://www.ncl.com/). Uber-cool Cruise Director Paul (http://paul.baya.net/) entertained the Traveling Alpaca morning, noon and night with his programming and his witty quips. When at port, Traveling Alpaca enjoyed a variety of activities, most of which were snorkeling or invovled water.

Belize's Ambergris Cay provided a deeper look into the underwater world, and the Traveling Alpaca enjoyed swimming with the very friendly stingrays, petting and feeding the nurse sharks and staying the hell away from the territorial, menacing moray eels. He took a break at a resort on the island for lunch, then decided to go jetskiing (http://www.ambergriscaye.com/pages/town/barrier.html).

What an active Alpaca!

Cruisin' With the Poooooookiiieeeee!

Pookie and I took a sister trip for her birthday (this time joined by the boys and the Alpaca) through the Exotic Western Caribbean. And exotic it was! We visited Belize, the Bay Islands and Cozumel (see separate entries for each). Both the cruise and the ports were fantastic. We'd do it over and over and over again if we didn't work.

This is a monkey crafted from fruit by the very talented chefs aboard the Norwegian Sea (http://www.ncl.com/, home of Cruise Director extraordinaire Paul Baya, http://paul.baya.net/).
