Holy Smokes, Batman, Mazatlan Looks Like the 949!

We planned to go to a resort in Mazatlan (Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay, http://travel.wwte1.com/pub/agent.dll?qsfr=cmfd&itid=&itdx=&itty=&ecid=) and pay the resort fee for use of the premises, and we were fine with that. Imagine our surprise when the resort we wanted to visit was offering a free shuttle and free use of their facilities in exchange for a time share presentation (we don't normally go to these, but figured we could make an exception under the circumstances - plus, I'm nosy and I wanted a tour).

The resort was beautiful. The architecture was lovely (looked like a very nice planned community, much like the 949 cities of Irvine, et al.) and since it was new, all of the common areas were shiny and dazzling. We especially loved the pool area, where the Alpaca sat in a lounge chair immersed in water. Alpaca found it to be a great way to cool off from the hot sun. Lunch was good and the swim-up bar was fun. The beach at the resort was nice, but with the pool right there, we didn't bother with the mess of sand or the rocky climb down to get there.

If I were interested in a time share, it would be this one.
